Nice - how was the ride in the Corolla? Too bad it wasnt the S2000 car.
Its a real shame that my mate didnt get to compete in his SVX (he was meant to be car 40, but had an accident on the way to the ceremonial start)....that thing has a glorious sound!!

4th pic of above...
It is of interest to note all the splats they use underneath to protect rear
diff, all the cv s etc.....
First seen it a few years ago, so I suppose if still using them, they must be of
real benefit.
I wonder if someone manufactures them, or the teams diy them?

Looked Abit Diy ...been Thinking About It Myself I Got A Good Look They Were Made Out Of 3 Or4 Mm Thick Cutting Board And Had Quick Release Pins Holding Them Up Canberra Is Famous For Rocky Roads And These Had Heaps Of Scuff Marks On Them So It Looked Like They Do A Good Job

hmm, I would have thought some thick rubber........I was at the CanberraRally 2005...where I saw it, makes sense for stone protection.
I got some metres of old conveyor belt rubber which would probably fit the purpose, about 8mm think, but never got round to using it for it (and now the L wagon is gone).still good stuff for workshop floor though.
However I think over the years, I split a CV boot only once due to premature abrasion, with a fairly new boot. Most split due to age and wear.
