looks like you could have moved it back on the trailer to level out your car though:)

You miss the old negative camber on the rear Andrew? Good way to re-bend your trailing arms
Would've surprised a few onlookers I think.

Actually the negative camber came back on my car...looks like it wasnt the rear end (swapped the entire rear-end over). I suspect the lift brackets for the rear shock absorbers may be bent or something now
The weight of the car on the trailer was forward but only slightly. It doesn't take much to make that much of a difference to the L series with its weak little shocks and springs. You have to have the weight slightly towards the front of the trailer like that, otherwise over bumps on bends it will lurch and take too much weight off the rear wheels and risk a jacknife.
Dave's Lib would also have coped fine, although his brand new clutch is very grabby so might have been abit difficult starting off at lights. Although lukily we got almost all greens on the way back.

andrews car did extremely well....highly impressed....just didnt look the best on the road with the ass end sitting on the ground

...and as andrew said, my clutch is a little too aggressive would have made things that little bit harder to do'

kickass.
I have a photo of my first car, a 1982 bluebird wagon, with a written off RX sedan shell, and an RS turbo front cut shell, plus a heap of rubbish on the back of it

looked ridiculous

Yeah....so are roof mounted spotlights

That photo also makes it look way worse than it actually was. My wagon is just comming hard onto boost in 1st gear at that point, also going up a slight incline. Twas only a short trip.

The don't wish to start a legal debate with you but the ADR regarding lights is as clear as mud.

Yer a legal debate on here would be a disaster. 3" lift kits....alot of our offroading locations.....most of our engine conversions.....lots of illegal stuff if you get into the nitty gritty.
