EOI - 2 x Subaru L Series

I have 2 x Subaru L series wagons and I am thinking of selling them both. I was hoping I could get opinions what they are each worth and if anyone was really keen about either of them. I don't want to be bothering with Roadworthies, etc. 1991 Full Time 4WD Subaru -: EA82 Motor Full Time 4WD Dual Ran...

This happened in my L Series recently. We had some of the clutch cable parts behind the clutch fork instead of in front

Is this an import?
I'd say so - but best email the seller for confirmation.

If only I had "spare" money, would make a batter base car than I am using now.
That car does look like a good find. I'd bet it has LSD as well. Says its a Full Time 4WD Auto too.

just wondering....how many of the people who voted for 14" have any experience with 6stud L series with larger than 14" wheels? Admitedly not a 6 stud conversion - but have had experience with 29" tyres on 15" rims. Gearing was up the creek IMO Apolgoies for not paying more attention to the 6 stud ...

Make sure the wheels are straight when you try to put in back into 2WD as well.

You could try and email a fellow called Richard in NZ. He might be able to help you source one and get it sent to you. I have gotten some unusual parts from him before.

You can email him on radeon_4@hotmail.com

The problem is I don't think they are made here anymore. But you can find out for sure by contacting TJM here -:

Offtopic -: Our work is in the worst area for TV reception. I was hanging out the windows with a pair of rabbit ear antennas to get reception. Of course the set top box had to lose reception half way through the race!

Got it back for the last minute at least.

Indy - my first one was $370 and the second one was $440 (which I begrudingly paid from a wrecker). People know what they are worth - and Datsun guys love them too coz they fit in their cars.

Your best bet is try to asking on here.. or go the wrecker option.

It might be a requirement for some Euro countries. eg. some of the German L Series had adjustable level headlights, some need rear foglight.

Most probably you have a 3.7 (You can look on the back of your existing diff - it probably says "3.7". You can find an LSD from an RX L Series - all of which I think are 3.7 - unless they have been modified. They are a bolt in swap as well.

I have one in my L Series wagon - its great on the sand.

Yup I have that done on my other L Series - and will be doing the same on this one too.

You can get Scorpion rims that are the correct offset. Some may argue about the quality and price ($185 each wheel) http://scorpionsubaru.com/product.htm You can also get a Crossbred Kit and convert your hubs to the 5 stud subaru pattern. That way you can use Subaru 5 stud wheels (WRX, etc) http://c...
