There was a Gen 1 or 2 Forester in a head on smash the other day in the Adelaide Hills with a Falcon. Both people in the Suby survived, one in the Flacon died.

I spent part of my time working on old Alco and EMD/GM prime movers . Used to work trains into Dunmore for Boral . I worked as a fitter on Alco, EMD/GM and English Electric prime movers and locomotives for just over 5 years here in Adelaide. I now drive trains to Perth, Melbourne and Broken Hill fr...

The brakes just needed new pads all round and machined the front discs and rear drums. The car didn't come with the rear diff protector but I fitted one two days ago. It came with the rear step bumper and bullbar. I also had to replace the tailshaft due to an annoying rattle. I mainly use the car to...

Hi all, Over the last few days I decided to give my 92 Brumby a thorough clean any tidy up with a few minor interior repairs. Only things I have done to it since I bought it last year are 14's, UHF radio, new spotlights. I have had the brakes done along with a new intake manifold gasket, water pump,...

Brumby Windscreen Seals

Hi all, Decided today to clean up the interior of the Brumby as it badly needed it and also to repair the wiring for the interior light and resecure the back interior panel. I found that water had been leaking into the car from the rear window and also the windscreen. Are new rubber seals available ...

I fitted an import full instrumentation dash (oil, volt etc) from an imort RX Turbo into my old 93 L series wagon. changed the wiring loom for a touring wagon one. The car then spent a week at an auto electrician getting the plugs and a few other things sorted.

I use a Z428 fuel filter as well under the bonnet of my 92 Brumby. For the rear I use a DF198/1 which is virtually identical to the original one and even clips in properly. I had no problems getting anything inluding dizzy cap and rotor from Sprint Auto parts here in Adelaide.

I had 6 inch 3-way speakers in the front and rear doors on my L series. I also fitted them to my brothers Lseries as well. It was decent sounding. My L already had 6 inch rear speakers with the stock factory ones in the front so not many mods required.

I went from the stock exhaust on my L series to a 2inch system done by Gepps Cross Exhausts. It made a big differeence to the way it revved and seem to have more go with better fuel economy. It had a straight through muffler and a newly fabricated headed into a 'Y' piece. It eventually annoying on l...

Hey all,

This coupe might be up for sale in the near future due to no longer being able to keep it where it is and no room for it at the current place due to getting a Brumby soon. I will post the details up when it is for sale.
