Well we're the second owners of our Brumby. Bought it off the son of the original owner as far as I know. Did nothing but potter around on his property in central queensland for the first 19 years of its life. Original books and service log and everything :) My RX has changed hands a lot and I'm pre...

Yeah Jeff from crussbrud got onto me, turns out he's still making them so I think the sister's looking into that. I'm keen on making one though

Can't remember if the tail shaft needs to be modified to fit the Brumby
Mmm, any tips on how to fit it or what will need modifying? Haven't swapped a box before haha

Cheers,
Tom.

Looks mean as frug, good stuff.
What did the 1" block kit cost without being rude? And does that require a steering arm extension?

Cheers,
Tom.

WTB Gen 1 Liberty

Hey again everyone. I'm after a generation 1 Liberty at the moment, don't really care about condition as long as it's manual, runs well/has no issues and is AWD. Rego and roadworthy don't matter. Air con would be nice too. Has to be cheap! Contact me any time, 0432 874 280 or t.j.g.farmer@gmail.com ...

Yeah so I bought this on the weekend...

Came with the matching diff plus the tail shaft, top mount bush for the diff is worn but diff itself is fine.

$80. Good running order. Missing linkages though but oh well. Pretty happy :D

Cheers,
Tom.

Bolted hand brake cables for liberty rear discs into my 84 wagon. Removed fly wheel after reading that just using MY large pressure plate and L Series clutch plate won’t last. I need to machine old fly wheel or find an L Series fly wheel. And order an L Series pressure plate. For 5 speed conversion...

I can use a welder but I'm not exactly proficient haha, the old man isn't bad. We only have an old stick welder though, would we get away with that or will it be too much of a pain without a MIG? Suppose it depends on what we use too? Can make up two so I have one in my brumby too ;) Ps, I was chuff...

I've replaced the fuel pump but that hasn't helped. I'll have to check all of the sensors tomorrow and take the fuel tank out for a wash.
