I had that size tyre on my old 82 MY wagon, It was real good off road and with a 3" lift I never had a problem, well when I say never I mean no more then bigger 4x4s had. The only problem I had was on the highway, a big lack of power on big hills, I would speed up (like 110kph) when I could see a hi...

what I see in the second pic, (apart from the suspension travel) is how stiff that rollcage has made the Brumby, one stand on one side only. I take it that is no flex at all in the rear? You have a great job on the whole car and it has been great to see how the car has come from were it was to were ...

That would real nice and neat to have the rollcage colour coded with the car, class is the word that come to mind. Hope you get all the things done that you need to have done for the next race, good luck and go and kick some Chapmen butt. It would nice to see a Brumby at the top of the time sheets. ...

Looks good seeing a Subaru with all those Jeeps. I am surprised thay let you stay and go on a trip with them and did not make you go home. And its good to see you impressed some with just how good a Subaru can be in soft sand, you dont need big horsepower and big wheels, but thay are nice to have. Rik

I have read all the above and I think there must be a big difrence in the sand in Qld to the sand in WA. I have been driving Subarus on the beach for about 15 years and in QLD around Brisbane/Sunshine Coast the best place to drive on the beach is at low tide on the hard sand, that is sand that would...
