The brake lines that came with the kite were 2 inches longer, that way still had same amount of slack after the kit went in. at full travel the lines are at there limit.

The alarm i used ( as i am on a tight budget,) was a base line RINO with a couple of sensor add ons.

Cris, Sorry , I forgot to say that i open it with the alarm keyless entry button. so i am at the tail gate when i push the button to open it. I have a button on the dash to open the tail gate if someone else wonts to put anything in the back if i am in the car. Sorry for not explaining myself better.

Hello Cris,

I built a custom steal look alike rear bumper and used a boot solenoid from a vl, vn commodore . It fits nicely in the tail gate . There is even a bit on the latch to hook into . As long as you get a straight pull from the solenoid , it all works fine.
