now that you have gone and done the job properly, a line of black leccy tape over the auto indicators would have had the same effect. that's what i did on mine ;) got to keep my original odometer that way.

Mate they are a work of art but theres hundreds of cars around lifted with 2 separate blocks! The pot bole you are referring to that ripped the bolts out was HUGE..

I think your tied together front control arm mounts are higher priority then these.

If its never going to be driven onroad then +1 to welding the rear diff. Welded diff = awesome grip but no onroad driveability AFAIK you can do a mod to electronically lock the centre diff (clutch pack) but this might only be on later models. If not then the screw method might be good if it holds t...

Tieing the blocks together is a good idea but not essential. I have solid alloy blocks and mines been through hell and back with no issues. I reckon my car has been lifted longer than most too the front control arm mounts are a known issue in the gen3.. probably ok with just the foz/outback brackets...

read my last post mate I have already fitted bushes front and rear. ended up cutting down a 30mm bronze bush into the sizes I needed. the clutch is disengaging. i get grinding when i let the clutch out, not when the clutch is in. the problem was not enough throw on the low range selector causing low...

as in you didn't remove the plug first?

just order a new one and replace it. easy to do with the car slightly raised.

problem with cars / engines this old is every seal / pipe eventually fails. i have replaced just about all the rubber in mine.

further thought I have 2 VTD rear ends im trying to get rid of. This will give you a rear biased torque split but lots of grip. Its a fairly straight forward swap but would need to do your research. google VTD

Not if you are going to leave the car AWD, if you run it front wheel drive you could get away with it but the Auto wont like it much. TOONGA the auto wont care one bit. you might blow a front diff but unlikely with an EJ22 forget about switches. For this application I would take the rear transfer h...

there is no requirement to fit a DPF. the requirement is to meet the ever advancing emission standards and a DPF is the most common way to do that.

Current model pajeros do not run a DPF for example

all parts are from a 1992 GX. both ends of the cable have a 10mm ID eye and an 8mm OD pin. The box has been out of the car at some stage though as the transfer housing is very clean compared to the rest of the box. I fitted the bushes on the weekend and there is no slop at all now. It seems to have ...

i would have thought 2750 at 100 is about ideal? my stock auto did 2500 which was terrible, the built auto got the revs back to about 2750 which was a big improvement. a stock gen1 lib does about 3K at 100kph. bit high for my liking but at this revs you can just leave the thing in 5th and put the cr...

I had a subaru parts guy check this out for me this morning and there is no bush listed as a separate part.

Either there was bushes moulded into the cable ends and they have fallen out, or the slop is meant to be there.

I'm going to turn up a couple of 10mm OD 8mm ID bushes and see how I go.

Thanks Justin

I exagerated on the amount of slop. I just measured the pin at 7.9mm and the eye at each end of the cable is 10mm. still a fair amount of slop though
