Parting out 1990 Liberty in SA - EJ22 with loom $150

Hi, I'm parting out a liberty I bought for parts. It's an AWD EJ22 with auto. The auto box doesn't feel great, seems to slip in reverse. The engine seems to run very well with about 200k on the odo. I'll be taking the exhaust manifold, coolant crossover pipe and wheels. Make me offers

I believe the KYB part is gas charged. I could only find non gas charged KYB's in the UK and then it's a separate part number to the standard gas charged ones. I choose KYB over all other brands but between Gabriel and KYB I thinks it's just brand preference. They are both good shock manufacturers.

I agree with Bennie, only go with stock length. I'd also add keep the stock spring rate too. Longer stiffer springs will just limit your down travel, wear out the CV joints and cause unnecessary harsh ride unless you have a heck of a load on-board.

If the crossmember lift is the same height as the strut lift than the CV angles will not change and there's no reason the boots would wear or treat any different.

The reason I don't want to use a vac control for heater is the only simple way to do that in the Brumby is either have one and off control and as I've never needed full heater in the Brumby I don't like this idea. I like the cable and my cable is fine is just my tap that won't turn fully off. I've p...

So where is the infamous thread about commodore heater taps?

So I've read this thread
