A mother took her five-year-old son with her to the bank on a busy lunchtime. They got behind a very fat woman wearing a business suit complete with pager. As they waited patiently, the little boy said loudly, "Gee, she's fat!" The mother bent down and whispered in the little boys ear to be quiet A...

I wear "cams" everyday to work. Trust me - the novelty wears off! You can get chepish stuff from disposal shops. The one on the corner of Wardel street (sp?) and Samford Rd near Enoggera Army base used to have a huge range. All the army guys bought stuff through him. Don't tell him Pete - let him f...

My 03 XS Forester (N/A) does the same thing since the Neutral Switch was replaced at the last service and it drives me insane when it hangs at 1500rpm. It nearly caused a rear ender one day recently on the way to Brissy in the wet when the traffic was down to stop and go traffic pace. I've had the c...

Ben wrote::P The quintrex site has been updated!

There used to be a curved menu banner and under that some text. Clicking on the menu dropped down behind the text rather than in front of it!

You think??? I am back on Firefox - for the websites I visit, opera failed on many, the only website that firefox doesn't work on for me is www.quintrex.com.au and to me that is because their developers don't understand the standards... Which part of that site Ben? My FF 2.0.0.5 works fine on that ...

Pete, it sounds to me like there is a temperatue sender problem. Not the temperature guage sender but the temp sender unit which is for the computer. Sounds very much like the "choke" is stuck on. The throttle is most likley returning to zero but the ecu will be sensing that the car is cold and is ...

could just be a build up of crap in the throttle body that makes it stick partially open and not closing up as far as it should.. just take the intake pipe off then spray some carby cleaner around and give it a good wipe out with a rag making sure to hold the butterfly open and get right down the b...

Sticky Throttle - MY03 XS Forester

Flicking the throttle doesn't make any difference, so...

I have a Forester friend in Sydney whose daughters Suzie blew #3 cylinder on the Hwy at Burpengary and it needs repairing. TIA FELLA'S. P.S. You can email me direct if yo...
