Hey folks.
I have my eyes on a bullbar from a gen 3 outback. Does anyone know if the mount points for the gen 3 and 4 outbacks are the same? The seller tells me they are but I am not convinced.
It is an external type, not bumper replacement.

What you are describing sounds very much like warped discs. If there is plenty of steel left on the rotors you could always get them machined.
