Congratulations on buying a Forester, I love mine too even with it's shortcomings  (rear leg room).

I think the pda's are the best way to go if you want a portable gps, you can have many diferent gps programs on the one unit. I think it's cheaper and more practical to go this way over the dedicated units. ie I have on mine: destinator, tomtom for road driving and oziexplore gps tuner for offroad/...

Save ya money for some mods that DO work. Yeah!, I agree with Subanator too. Go and buy a Hiclone instead, that will put a Cyclone under your bonnet and give you more power and more mileage ie 15-20% fuel savings.    P.S. I can thoroughly recommend Boxer Service (Brendale- 32054495) , I travel from the Sunshine Cost to Brendale to have my 03 XS Forester serviced there , in fact I will be there Friday week for my 112,500km service. Don't be put off by Brenda on the front counter (if she is there when you drop in) as s...

A mother took her five-year-old son with her to the bank on a busy lunchtime. They got behind a very fat woman wearing a business suit complete with pager. As they waited patiently, the little boy said loudly, "Gee, she's fat!" The mother bent down and whispered in the little boys ear to be quiet A...

I wear "cams" everyday to work. Trust me - the novelty wears off! You can get chepish stuff from disposal shops. The one on the corner of Wardel street (sp?) and Samford Rd near Enoggera Army base used to have a huge range. All the army guys bought stuff through him. Don't tell him Pete - let him f...

My 03 XS Forester (N/A) does the same thing since the Neutral Switch was replaced at the last service and it drives me insane when it hangs at 1500rpm. It nearly caused a rear ender one day recently on the way to Brissy in the wet when the traffic was down to stop and go traffic pace. I've had the c...
