Re: L series clock help (RX turbo)
I'd just like to point out 11.75 years is an awful long time to wait for a reply (and one of, if not the, longest I've seen on a forum anywhere)!

Unsung, unnoticed, unknown....un-no-more.
***Thanks***
I hope this can contribute to more usage of the forum.

Sorry to hear the difficulty you've put yourself through Cliff. Sounds like a treasured vehicle, well cared for. Hope it all works out.
In the meantime, I've linked some videos on the same year/similar year vehicles I found on youtube, they're in the Youtube Videos thread.

Given Cliff's little scare concerning parting with his '82 Touring Wagon, by chance I'd come across a review of a 1980 version recently so went and had a quick search on youtube. The result are below and for the younger brigade, I'm going to introduce you to a new word (and horror: Plaid! (The oldie...

Yeah, hers was not only "minimised" but also swiped to close/shut it down but clearly this wasn't enough.. lesson learnt I'm guessing. Good thing I warned you, eh! Can do. According to app info, I'm running 1.8.199 I'm guessing that is the latest? Yes as far as I can see. Here is the Torque changel...

I'm not old enough to even remember the 70s :p I'm guessing what Subaru told you at the 100k service and thier so called 'decarbonised' sevice was more likely just an intake system cleaner to get rid of any crankcase ventilation gum left behind in all the intake system. This stuff would have gone t...

Well it happened.. not the full christmas tree lights I was expecting but 5 or 6 warning lights appeared. Shut the engine down and checked for codes. U0073 (communication error) was the only code, so cleared with scantool and restarted engine, all good. Made it clear to Danielle that she needs to e...

Back to the future...actually the past.
So was Danielle's car for the first 125,000kms of it's life (so I'm asuming that they would have done the 100k service correctly???). The car was around 180,000kms when this shuddering started and no indication of any DPF or EGR issues, I believe these only showed up after the 70mm intercooler hose...

Firstly let me say if you're not having any problems then don't change anything- just keep in mind what's below. In case you get the Christmas Lights; - Pull over safely (if somehow whilst driving). - Power off vehicle. - Exit Torque. - Vehicle ignition on (no need to start). - Start Torque. - Selec...

Sorry might not have made myself clear with my typing. I meant for other new people wanting to install this setup in their car. I understand that the bluetooth dongle only requires bluetooth connection but this is after someone has setup the app. I was thinking of making a set by step instructions ...

The firmware was replaced with the updated version with the previous owner (Subaru WA.. was a sales reps car) and the car would shudder with or without the cruise control set. I'm sure there was some kind of overlap happening but the feeling was more in the driveline than the engine itself but (cro...

I see this is an old post, so not sure if this helps or the original poster's issues were solved but my daughter's foz was shuddering at between 2200 and 2300 RPM but we could not find any issues with it. The vehicle would shudder until you lifted the foot off the accelerator. We where looking at e...

Issues 1. You (anyone else wishing to install) need to make sure your android device is connected (and has the capability) to the net It may have just needed to confirm the licence first. My device only needs Bluetooth to connect to OBD-II dongle. If you have a WiFi dongle then you'll still need Wi...

WARNING AGAINST INITIATING AN OBD-II CONNECTION WHILST TORQUE PRO IS ALREADY RUNNING [/u] (Note I have posted about this elsewhere) I forgot last night: there is a chance, under a specific situation, that Torque will initiate a miscommunication with the forester and disable most, if not all, featur...

Torque Pro setup for Diesel Forester 2010 and on
Hi Paul, I'll reply in your thread currently so we can do Q&A as necessary. Once we have a definitive setup procedure you/I can make a new 'correct' thread/post that can be stickied if necessary. What you'll need * Android device * Torque Pro for Android * Possibly a couple of plugins for Torque Pro...
