Pm sent with details. I'll confirm when I get the satchel but I'd say these are going Schultzie's way.

Well...I went with the Nolathane 48003 Bushes as they were nearly half the price of the SuperPro SPF2534K First I took an old Castor Rod, tapered it and resized it to 17mm then gave her a bit of love with the gas torch: http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o88/nncoolg/8995ED4A-42E2-4C39-BEE9-08C65C3A4...

what part are you measuring at 18mm? I mean if the rod is still on the car you can only measure the exposed part, but I know on the MY rods the mounting diameter for the bushes is considerably smaller than the OD of the main part of the rod (which you can only see on removal) ...Exactly what I was ...

XT / L series 'Strut bar to chassis' Bushes - Nolathane?

Has anyone tried to put Nolathane 48003 bushes in their L series with 18mm 'strut bar'? Checking the sizes before ordering I noticed that the ID of their bushes is 16mm, how the hell are they supposed to go on our 18mm castor rods? Surely someone has come across this issue before? I contacted tech s...

Its the earlier model L series that has the adjustable '3 position' shocks where you move the spring perch up or down on the tabs on the side of the shock. they went to fixed positions later. I have a set of adjustable style new KYB replacement shocks here if you want the part numbers, you will need...

Sorry mate, chucked the remnants long ago :) I wasn't aware there were variances in clearance for these wheel bearings to be honest. Are these C numbers marked somewhere on the bearing itself? or on the box? If it helps, the bearing kit originally used came from eBay, there is a guy selling kits fo...

L / XT series Wheel Bearings

I'm in the process of chasing down some unexplained play in my front wheels at the moment and I suspect someone has fitted clearance bearings like 'C4' or something instead of what should be in there. I found some spare bearings I was given 'for the subaru' and they are 'C4' clearance rated, I suspe...

Silverbullet, do you still have the old bearings? I'm wondering what clearance rating they were? The US guys usually talk in 'compliance date' not 'build date' Steptoe, to my knowledge the 'six month period' thing refers to the XT series 2 turbo, which was only sold there until mid 1987, until the XT6 was sold along side the NA XT4 I have attached the Control Equipment page from the AUS. parts ...

No I never made my own ignition controller, I wasnt brave enough! My car is using a 36-1 timing ring on the crank pulley. Then my microsquirt ecu is driving the coil packs and doing the timing control. You can still use a distributor with programmable ignition, a lot of car manufacturers did. It re...
