Thanks Frog

Hey Andy, thanks for all your help with the parts for the rebuild on my Outback. I considered buying all the parts after market but the peace of mind knowing that I have mostly genuine parts is great. Only thing I put in the engine that I bought that was not genuine was the ACL Race series bearings....

Just as a matter of interest, there was one of the F1 flat 12 engines advertised on ebay a few years back. $20,000 at the time. I wonder what ever happened to it.

The light bars are no good at all when compared to spot/driving lights for touring. They do not penetrate at all. They are fantastic for lighting the area up in front of you for night time 4wding though. A combination of both is a perfect set up. A mate of mine is an importer for one of these brands...

I am glad that he is very happy with the end result. The fella came to us asking advice on what it should cost and we tried to tell him. It is simply amazing how much they charged. "Gob-smacking knock you down" amazing how much they charged. http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/subaru-liberty-...

Want Liberty GT heads

Hey all, after fitting a brand new timing belt kit you would think that your valves would be safe for quite a while. Well not in my case. Less than 5000k's and the belt simply snapped. I haven't taken the engine apart but there is absolutely no compression. So now I am looking for a set of heads to ...

He did tell me he was going to sell it. It was a while ago now so I guess he isn't in a hurry to get rid of it.

If you are reading this Jeff, or some one is talking to him, there is nothing wrong with your account in the data base. It is still there, all in place and active. Perhaps try resetting your password and logging in. Or clear the cache on your computer and try logging in.

It is an issue that I believe will be sorted out quite shortly. Emails were sent out to all site advertisers in June re: renewing advertising for this year. Some advertisers will not be returning - some will - others have not replied. As for Jeff being not able to log in. This is an issue that I hav...

What I was saying about the water cross over the other night won't work with the factory parts. The return/outlet hits on the bell housing. You will have to make it up if you want to change the direction of the water.

2000 Outback electrical issues

Hello again every one. It has been a while since I posted mainly due to ill health. I'm still playing with the subies although not quite as much as previously. Any way here is a strange one for you that has had me stumped for months. I have a 2000 2.5 Outback that I got from the auctions. It was a f...

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner. It says I am logged in "all the time" as every time a browser is opened by some one here, this page comes up as the home page. That includes my wife and kids. I haven't read a post on here for months and only found out about this one from Captain Obvious. Your subs...

I was never one for the live chat thing either. It has been suggested a few times over the years so I thought I had better ask the users before we can it again for a while. Lots of good suggestions. I will look at what I can do about photo editing but I really don't think there will be much, if any ...

I don't know if a mod saw any thing or did any thing. I just did a search for that user name and it doesn't exist. ??? Got me beat. I can change your current user name to suit if you want - unless I hear otherwise from a moderator.

Sure is. I have got a Gen 4 but it is the same as your car underneath at the back. I have had my lift in there for nearly 4 years now and have never done a CV joint. It is a 2"-3" combo.
