Sounds interesting...

How do I tell if my 1999 Outback AWD box is 4bolt or 8bolt? Where are these bolts?

Pics and breif instructions would be great if possible Brett, that electronic system has pricked my ears up abit more!

L series low range into AWD box

I have a 1999 Outback AWD box with Dual Range. I beleive the low range of these boxes is quite unimpressive compaired to the L series boxes. (not low enough). Well I've got 3 L series dual range gearboxes sitting here....how difficult is it to transfer the low range gears from one of these into the ...

Yeah an L sedan for offroad sounds attractive....and Jaffa's idea of N/A EJ power plants is good.... I know somebody with a good EJ25 forsale...... :D But seriously....I rekon you should just drive the Coupe to work everyday. Use that as your everyday car - it doesn't use alot of fuel anyway really....

I can do it tomorrow night with my trailer. We should be able to just lift the engine between the three of us (im sure the seller can lend a hand). Otherwise I can bring my engine hoist with me in the trailer.

Checkout http://www.rola.com.au

It's got full listings of what model of racks are compatible with which models of cars.

Bandit, can you provide the model number at all? I'm after the one which suits the L series Touring wagon (high roof). Part number GBFS22.

Cheers,

a.
