Getting them out is relatively easy with a socket extension or similar and a soft face hammer ensuring to tap evenly around the ring of the bearing. A press makes putting them in a lot easier. I just went to my local garage and they pointed me in the direction of the pre WW2 manual press. Too easy! ...

If they are as rusty as mine were you'll have to rip out the studs and replace them. They are a unique size to the XT6...I wonder if the ********* ones used a more commonly available size... I haven't had a good look, I will post a photo and you might give some advice. He did say he would make sure...

Yes, I got them out of the US, like hens teeth and not cheap with current exchange rate, but they are sweeeet!
Through my research it seems the cr0ssbread kits are like hens teeth in a haystack!

One fairly stripped, the other still had the engine, suspension, brakes etc in tact. It was missing front indicators though. Also spied another L series, Leone...

Good tip on the 93-94 lib springs. I heard the MY wagons have rear coilovers. My local wreckers has a couple of MYs so I must go check them out. I want to a whole WRX with average body/ good running gear and transplant as much as possible. I reckon it would be cheaper that way. Yep old mate on USMB ...

That's a pretty piece of metal! My mission, if the handbrake lets me accept it is, Whole EJ20 turbo front end, with WRX brakes etc, I believe I need to source L series control arms to get some negative camber and ream the holes for Wrx ball joints and use early WRX front axles for correct length. Th...

G'day dfoyl, I thought a crossbreed kit was rarer than the xt6 hubs and are they street legal? I am very keen to learn about any alternatives to xt6 or this kit. I have thought about looking at melding hubs from an H6 outback to MY? Thanks for your reply. I would rather source a kit or xt6 hubs if p...
