About to try fitting 14s to it :) so will see if that fixes up the binding problem or not. if the binding problem you talk about is with the different tyre sizes then having 4 of the same size will slow the binding (depending on surface type, corners in one direction etc). When in 4wd that locks th...

All the above examples are from binding in the 4wd system. The shuddering you felt through the car when the lever finally dis-engaged 4wd was the stress in the system being released. Best way to try and ease this is turn in one direction sharp and try to dis-engage 4wd, if it doesn't happen and you ...

Multi-quote madness... Quick Question - what does everybody mean by 'binding' either in 4wd or out? Great effort on the mulit quote madness, well done. The 'binding' you expereince when 4wding (only happens in 4wd) is from the front and rear wheels being "locked" together so there is no difference ...

Once you try HID you will never go back. They make any previous attempt at high performance lighting look like a childish prank. Even big lights like Rally 4000 or Lightforce 240 Blitz running 160 watts can't even come close. It's almost like they were invented for Subies. A small, low current draw...

real test would be on an oscilloscope to see the sharpness of changes. the picture loks a bit slanty if slow to read and square if on spec. My GLTA L series is only single wire btw 22mm ring spanner fits mine and was piss easy to remove - not expected at all! yeah the 22mm ring spanner is the key t...

Hey all, Maybe we should organise a group trip with a bunch of non-believers that subis are capable 4wds. We may have to take things slower or change how we approach things but i think thats all a part of 4wding. It also helps the environment to a certain degree - taking it easy can reduce erosion e...

(they)... light the road up very very very well, they also tend to burn the retina's of people who come my way with their high beams on.. Mine do the same, i generally give people about 2 seconds (sounds like a short time but its not) before i give them a flick. I love "playing" high beam wars... i...

Mate, personally from what i've seen from that site it *looks* like a good buy. I say *looks* cos i haven't driven the car - but you seem pretty impressed with it and sounds like a goer. I love the colour and the lines of that body shape. Sounds like you already love the car too - I'd watch out for ...

AlpineRaven,
Have a look here. There's a good description of what to do in here, there's a little bit of flab you'll have to carve through to get to what you want.
Hope its of some use.
