Ok update time.....the car starts fine but when I flatten the throttle it sound to bog and won't rev but then pics up but not right

That's about it or use WD40.let it dry out and refill it

Could be the couse of all my problems

On the canister behind the right headlight there is a small valve on the smaller hose to the engine.....what would be the effect if the valve was taken out.

Wow thanks mate....I did find a bared wire that was touching on the auto too

Ol I'll check that.I did just put a new filler kit I'm it and all looked good inside

Car is a front wheel drive.I get like a surge type feeling but not up in revs but like down on power.its not all the time but mostly on acceleration like a slip but its not slipping...its very hard to explain it.

In my ej22 auto the power light on the dash flashes 26 (one long and 16 short).anyone know these codes?.

I'm not sure if its just me or not.....I recently fixed my auto problem but I'm thinking I mite have a motor issue too.when I drive all seems fine but while driving if I turn the AC on it feels guess.hard to explain but it almost feels like a small surge but not up in rpm but down on power.only happ...

Fixed the car.it was a dirty filter inside the auto.$38 for a new filter kit

About half a turn......Zita did hit...well backed over a traffic island in our street once and I have only just had a close look and it looks like its dented the pan...looks to be right were the pick up is.maybe I'm grabbing at straws.I'll fix that and if no change ill need another good auto...........

Could it do the same thing if its over tightened at all

I adjusted the bands a couple of small amounts but still loss of drive when hot.

A young friend may be in need of a lift from coffs to Brisbane on or before the 14th if possible.....if anyone can help if your going that way.....cheers bill.

Seem to have had a win....thanks heaps.....will put it in for a service but at least its working again.

Fulcrum or repco.I would pull the lot out in one go.makes linning things up easier.
