Engineering nsw?
Anyone spoken to a ginger beer lately? I had a chat to my local one today that had previously ok'd a ej22 into a brumby and the gist of the conversation was have it done in the next 10 days or don't even bother. The new system is way more complex and his fees will be going up from about 500 ish to t...

awesome work. Might pay to mention not to use silica sand as silicosis is some nasty sounding stuff. Also why were you doing this today? there were some pretty fast cars blasting around the bush up your way today, some even subaru's. Pity it was $35 entry to the Super Special Stage at the jetty last...

Could be one of two things: the cable that runs from the temp dial into the engine bay mounted heater core bypass valve thing, possibly snapped or stretched to buggery. the valve itself may be seized. you can buy these new from subaru fairly cheap. I have one sitting at home so i can get the part nu...

damn the progress your making is amazing, actually inspiring. Its making me rethink what i had planned to do anyway. Have you considered using different subaru trailing arms for the rear? maybe the shape changed over the years / models and may suit / make fabrication easier. I know forrester trailin...

bumping this up again Disco, what are your thoughts on using these compression rods for a L series armed brumby. already used in compression from the factory but the radius rod mounting hole may have to be clearanced a little to get them to fit. http://i901.photobucket.com/albums/ac211/stenno_photos...

99 crank is rear thrust isnt it? EJ20G (closed deck) blocks are centre thrust so you will be up for some machining costs. what year model Forester heads? Phase 1 or 2 inlet bolt pattern? judging from your other build thread v2 sti ECU still? i think that there will be some rewiring needed if changin...

Ellenborough Falls is really nice, so is Rawson falls on Comboyne. nothing too offroad to get there to either. You could get there in a 2wd road car no worries as its mostly graded dirt roads if i remember correctly. With Rawson falls just try not to leave it too late in the day as the cold chill se...
