just make sure all the crank case breather hoses have no carbon in them. I had issues once in my L series when the hoses were so full of carbon they were actually blocked.

mm, I think he paid 7 for it a few years ago. Insurance only paid 2,500 I think. So thats all he's got!

oh well. keep an eye out anway.

Mate of mine had his gen2 lib stolen, used in a robbery, and then driven down a bank, and not surprisingly, written off. bugger.

Anyone know of anything for sale that's decent for around the 2k mark? Lib or similar?

I have 2 gearboxes sitting in the yard that need to go. 1 x standard RS turbo box, don't know much about it as it came in my vortex. Should be a 3.9 with the reduction rear extension to 3.54. Broken rear drive gear - behind the centre diff. Gears in the front casing should still be fine although bit...

hmm, i wonder how much a new rear window would cost...

nope they dont. I have a jap import awd cluster and it does have one. Not sure about the standard Aus delivered rx cluster though.

haha nah don't think so. he's going to vietnam for 10 months so prob doesn't need a car while he's over there.

ah yeah, hmm i wonder if the lower panel behind the rear wheels is the same as on a wagon...

has anyone got an L series they are wrecking? My wagon has got some rust behind the rear wheels and am looking to find a donor car to cut the rear quarter panel out of. also need a few interior bits.
