I don't think they make ultra low springs for a brumby! You may be able to find something else to fit. Otherwise the cheapest would be to rebuild the existing struts and move the spring mount lower on the strut while doing this. (somebody like ww shock absorbers can do this) Or early my struts used ...

My outback is on gas (2000 h6). It is just a vapor system and I would not do this again. Fuel economy is very bad on lpg. anywhere from 15 to 24 l/100km. But it is still cheaper to run than on petrol. I have had it back to the installer many times and this seems to be as good as they can get it. Whe...

I think the "ugly" in them is what makes them so unique, also that they are getting very rare.

That photo looks like there is a double spline like the lhs shaft of a subaru viscus lsd. Does the diff have the same spline setup on the other side. You may just need the double spline doj found on a viscus lsd as they are different.

The bushes for Gen3 multi-link rear suspension are not available in Australia
Try http://www.powerflex.co.uk/products/Leg ... 622/1.html

I have used there rear diff bushes (nothing available is aus for gen3) and they seem very good. Took about 1 week to deliver from the uk.

Yes the cam shaft runs straight off the crankshaft via gears and it has pushrods and rockers to open the valves. You can put brumby torsion bars in as they are a little thicker and there it is possible to put l series rear springs over the rear bump stops (providing you have a lift kit) this acts as...

I have a aultronic ecu, they are very good and ofter compared to motec but for half the price.
They also have plug and play for some subarus.
If you are going to put in a newer ej25 later look for something that has variable camshaft control, aultronic sm4 has this.

My ute (97 ej20) hit 211kw atw (287awhp) with similar mods plus bigger turbo and injectors at 18psi. So I think 200awhp should not be a problem depending on how much boost you run.

When I went to cape york (over 1m deep water) I went to great lengths to waterproof the motor. Rubber glove works well as suggested. I also sealed down the cap with a little silicone and use marine grease on the electrical connectors to keep the water out (including under lead caps). A switch to tur...

I think that you could challenge them on that. Ask them to show you a defination on capacity that refers to power? Probably better to ask the question a different way. Ask if i can fit this 2.2l engine instead of the origional 2.0 with no mention of power outputs and if they ask tell them that you d...

also how would an EJ feel about going 4000RPM+ for a long time my ute will do 9000rpm no problems as with most ej motors the turbo only starts to come on boost at 4000. Any ej would happily sit on 5000rpm all day. interpreted by RTA modifications mob as engine power Are you sure about that, every o...

It is possible but you will need a cylinder pulse pick up and this would normally be mounted to a disc in the old distributer or maby you can use the ign module as a pick up? But the cost in setting this up including an ecu to drive it would make it not worth the trouble IMO. Money would be better s...

auto or manual? if it is auto you can just put in a fuse that makes if fwd. Autos generally have 100% drive to the front anyway and the rear is drivin by a clutch. I dont think this will solve your fuel economy problems though. If manual you will need a early lib fwd gearbox. But seems like a very s...
