>Whole EJ20 turbo front end, with WRX brakes etc, I believe I need to source L series control arms to get some negative camber and ream the holes for Wrx ball joints and use early WRX front axles for correct length. That's pretty much what I've heard done. I borrowed a reamer from another member her...

BTW, user hyperlite2 on USMB has posted a bump on his XT6 hubs (just the hubs). He wanted from memory either $250 or $300 US, which I thought was too high, but he's looking for offers now...

Cr0ss**** kit is more common than XT6 hubs down under, but the hub design is identical. Here's a pic of an original I cleaned up: http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz18/dfoyl/Brumby/DSC09877_zps443bb363.jpg Note that the wheel bolts are unique to the XT6 (a smidgen smaller than anything else, the c...

Justin, I saw your post on USMB for a set of XT6 hubs/etc. Have you thought about sourcing a ********* kit locally ? Alternatively, there is a way of converting MY rear drums to hubs - a Qld board member made me aware of it, but I haven't really looked in to it. My main concern is whether the thickn...

>Audi A4 (a3?) "pepper pots" 15' alloys used to be the go to cheap rims for the rs lib / wrx crew for drag racing rims. Right offset and cleared 4 pot brakes. Availability is near zero tho The early A3 offset works only for L series, not MY. I have seen a set for sale, but it gets me from +48 to +45...

Imlachs 30/8 : All MY's gone. 3 L wagon's, nothing outstanding on any of them. Plenty of Liberty's and Outback's, couple base model Impreza's and from memory a SG Forester. Getting to be a real mess in there these days, much as I hate to say it they need to tell their buyers to stop getting in so mu...

Found the ideal wheels to eliminate the spacers I am running on the Brumby - first gen Audi TT. +31mm offset on 7" wheels. Sourced and fitted one today and it is perfect - just inside the guards, clears the suspension, and a classic 5 spoke design. Even the centre cap looks the same diameter. Now to...

On a Brumby it's actually a sheet of alloy with printed artwork - not a sticker. The clear coat crumbles with age, but if you polish it lightly the clear coat will come off and it will look as good as new.

I have a plate you could borrow as a template to getting your own made (I imported it from the US during my last trip over there, as I couldn't get hold of Paul) - or I could even run it to a local waterjet cutter to have a duplicate made (no idea on cost though). I am looking for the bolts and flyw...

Was only a 40cm length of lead pipe. The bearing had seized up and tightened the nut to the axle. Good brand too, Minimax.

Yes, includes the rubber (I have a MY front glass with original rubber in the garage which I measured). You won't need much additional for the top and bottom, probably 50mm for the sides (25mm each side) - this will get you to the outer edge of the A-pillars.

Including the rubber seal, 112 top 142 bottom and 67 high (measured in the centre). Note that doesn't include the metalwork, only the front glass inside the rubber seal.

>Can see how 195.50.15s are a great match for the original tiny tyres This is what I am currently running, and I honestly can't think of a better wheel setup for on-road MY's as 15" wheels are common as mud and still cheap - 50 profile isn't that common on 15's but gives decent handling without a ha...
