Well I have just bought a nice 1998 GX Liberty Auto wagon. Pick it up tomorrow from the dealer. Very happy with it. It goes well, is very comfortable. The only thing I am going to have to fork out on is 200,000k service as we cannot tell if it was done. Will post pics when I get it.

well things have changed a little and for the better. I now have a bit more cash to play with around $5000 to $8000. So have been looking at early model Forester's and Outbacks as well as Liberties. Prefer to get from dealer as I can go to my maximum. So I need advice for what to look out for in the...

We have had no problems with our Samsung Plasma. You will find that LCD and Plasma screens are only made by 2 companies and the rest of the electronics is made by the various companies. The only way to choose is to pick the one that you like the picture on .Take your favourite DVD or Blu-Ray disc an...

I use premium and I have found that the economy improved a lot compared to normal unleaded. So the extra cost was not a problem I basicly got the money back in the extra mileage

Some People should not have Subbies - A Rant

Coming home tonight past Holdens at Elizabeth, they have been doing a bit of roadwork at a roundabout. so there are speed restrictions and a lane closed. Well these young lads in an Outback can speeding up next to me in the lane that was closed. They were speeding and obliviously trying to get past....

Subby running rough

Noticed this problem today when driving my "L" series subby around. I pull up quickly at traffic lights the engine would start to run rough and miss.So I would slip the trans into to neutral and rev the engine slightly and it would come good. Any thoughts on what could be causing this problem? Thank...

I-Phone 3GS ++ Navigating Software

I have recently acquired a new I-Phone. The first Apple product I have owned. One of the reasons that I got this phone was the idea of putting on software that would use the gps functionality. The phone is a pretty neat piece of kit. Great display. The built accelerometers help with game play and so...

It;s in a "L" series subby. 5-speed would be nice but I don't think I could afford to at the moment. Would rather get the auto fixed, then later on think about another car when I am earning some money.

Auto trans leaks into front diff

Yet again my trans is pumping fuild into the front diff, which then comes out of the filler tube then on to the exhaust. Lovely smell, not. Does anyone know what would cause an auto trans to pump fuild into the diff. Steve at rising sun has replaced seals and o-rings a few times. But it has just hap...

Just wondering if anyone here has been diagnosed with diabetes and has had problems with their eyes? I have just recently been diagnosed with diabetes (also high blood pressure and cholesterol) and just started on the medication about 10 - 12 days ago and my vision has gone blurry over last 4 days. ...
