The only changes are HD swaybars front and back and Yokohama Cdrive tyres - makes all the difference I'd be interested in hearing more on your "tweaks" to the XT. Which model do you have? I am also considering different tyres w...

NT Subaru enthusiasts ......

There seem to be a couple of us up here. I have (well, the wife really ) an MY06 Forester XT. Nothing done to it at this stage, however will look into better tyres when the originals wear out. I probably wont take this off road too much, as the 17" alloys could easily sustain some damage. :? T...

I had 15" Simmons on my RX a few years back (Jack Sparrow ended up with this car - where is he? Haven't seen him for a while now)

I ran 195/55/15 for best results. The 195/50/15 were a bit small, IMO.
No mods to body work with standard suspension.

There are a number of similar vehicles owned by regular users of this forum, so some of you must have your cars insured...

She's a manual.

And yes, that part of the south coast is beautiful. My wife's family has had the holiday house at Sanctuary Point for around 20 years. We got to use it alot more when we lived in Sydney and Canberra, but still enjoy getting there most Xmas periods.

Sig changed!

New Forester XT

My wife and I finally got our new car just before Xmas - an MY06 Forester XT Luxury manual. (Silver) I was like a kid in a lollie shop at the dealership and the first few days with the car. We bought it whilst on holidays in Sydney. We then spent some time down the Sth Coast (Sanctuary Point, near H...

The RX also had thicker front drive shafts than the NA versions.

As previously stated, different suspension settings, rear LSD, rear discs and exhaust were other differences.
