I think you will find factory minimum is 2mm despite what pad makers suggest -4or 5mm. I like to know new pads are in and piston is further back in its bore and more robust might be the word?

you can get some funny issues with leaking injector seals but if I recall rightly is more an idle issue. This is the seal thit fits on injector body and seals to intake manifold

has SA upgraded its rules to some level of sensibility re light bars etc ? Lights at the front in the past had to be in pairs. Some states now allow single light bars. And yu need to have your work of art inspected yet uhuh?

Goodness !! There would certainly be a big number on this - like 50 cents a kilo. Whatever the old guy gets for this is not likely to affect his pension payments much :D Tell him not to spend it all in advance ! It is in need of a good soda blast to gently separate the paint from the rust and remain...

I looked at some recent models expecting to see the entire seat and track lining up with Subaru Brumby mounting holes and things look very different :( Or is it that these seats fit the Brumby seat tracks ? a suspension specialist, but would best have sample in hand with measure of bars diameter and maybe the brackets it has to fit into - see if they can match it up by specs rather than car specifically. Subaru dealer would also be a good start

hmmm, may have helped if I had seen this post ...there was another more recent with a link to possibly same seller. I got one for 145 plus 15 postage and have two electric AC fans in to deal with when time comes to fit. Also got a twist to the radiator and a tell tale orbital sander gouge in the sid...

Praise Lanotec Heavy Duty

Mate, Lanotec, if you have not got some - get some ! In recent weeks a mate built like the proverbial eastern bloc poohouse right down to his grip strength was struggling with an internal hex key mushroom headed bolt in about M6.No, nil, nyet, nada budge, no matter what, until a few moments with a s...

surely any AC compressor will work so long as you can make it fit - they were just kits made up by various AC kit makers after all. The compressor is likely found in any common old 80's cars

ALDI sub $30 battery charger

it works the instruction manual is a little concerning.it has diagrams of the various icons of the LCD screen designated with a upper case letter. No where in the manual is an explanation of these letters and screens as far as I can work out.The funniest bit so far, is once you have slit the securit...

fans in front of radiator have been expressed as not as efficient as behind. With most modern cars, I am noticing the xit point for air through radiator is limited to the same diameter area as that the fans leave, and shrouding covers the rest, so guess effectively drawing air at speed by fans acros...

Win7 is or was Vista isn't it ? I'm still on a version of XP and works slow at times, stalls just sits there and spin. Simple fix is shut off at the power point and go do things I am supposed to do. Is worse during school holidays for some reason :) Any new system is a pita if there is no one to hel...
