Looked into it and the difference is the smaller one is to be used if you leave the original outer steel sleeve from the OE factory rubber bush in the control arm, The Larger size is if you fully removed the factory bush including the outer sleeve.

That I think is where the confusion arises.

That is annoying! I know only too well this pain, I went through the same thing with front LCA bushings. I found with them there were 2 different sizes with the smaller diameter being on earlier models. Maybe it is the same with the rears, might be worth checking the Nolathane website because they ...

I posted this up in the Cars seen for sale thread, But I recon most would agree this would be the best thing you could do for your Subaru today, In many cases replace it with this Gem or at least add another to the stable. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/ferntree-gully/cars-vans-utes/1984-subaru-leon...

Looking good Sam, I was lucky enough to buy two of them from Supercheap about twelve months back for $40.00 each because they had them for just over a $100.00 each and couldn't sell them. I had looked at them for a while and when I decided to get one my local Supercheap had no stock left, I got the ...

Would be very interested in the LSD & radiator. I'm also often going up the Pac Hwy to SE Qld, so if someone wants something transported, could work out something. I've seen 2 spider manifolds with 3 pin TPS, though these were still using the original throttle body on earlier cars with "black" ECU....

Not wrong about the XV ute concept and it seems that all the Manufacturers have forgotten just how popular things like Brumbies, Datto 1200's Chev Luvs and all the smaller name brand utes were. Whatever happened to targetting the Younger market guys not everyone especially younger tradies wants a Fa...

I won't rewrite all that I just wrote in the Conversions thread but instead link it and attach the Photo of my L series to Brumby Clutch Pedal and cable conversion as I think it is the best approach to the job as it manages to keep everything MM perfect to Subaru design criteria. http://ausubaru.com...

WRX utes yeah I understand but why hasn't somebody done an L series Wagon ute conversion yet, Cheap basis to start and the shape of the wagon should make a useful ute with a workable tray length. Sadly most modern cars if converted to a ute are so short in the tray it is more like reinventing the Su...

You can source full alloy radiators of Ebay in Australia and a brumby one is $159.00 some members in WA I believe may have used the same brand in an L series EJ conversion so some feedback on quality may be available. Most likely made in China for that price as something like PWR made in Queensland ...

Not wrong about used car prices in South Oz, I know dealers in NSW who make a living just ferrying cars down there, Repair cost plus rego and the Green Slip scam in NSW means many quite OK easily fixed cars get scrapped.
