Yeah, you will put more strain on the cvs and boots but I don't think its an issue. They are cheap and straightforward to replace (provided you can crack that damn 32mm nut). strut lift is effectivley extending your struts, its cheap and quick to install. body lift leaves your drivetrain in the same position but lifts up the chassis. lots more bits required. lots of effort to install. WTB: Flexible clutch line
Pretty sure the fittings don't change much model to model but I am after the flexible clutch line for a 2000 foz. If any one has one I can grab this weekend that would eb great, if not I will grab a new one next week.

I bought a forester recently and asked exactly the same question. The 2L donk actually goes quite well in it. Not super fast but enough power to be comfortable overtaking.
