How do I tell if my 1999 Outback AWD box is 4bolt or 8bolt? Where are these bolts?
Pics and breif instructions would be great if possible Brett, that electronic system has pricked my ears up abit more!

L series low range into AWD box
I have a 1999 Outback AWD box with Dual Range. I beleive the low range of these boxes is quite unimpressive compaired to the L series boxes. (not low enough). Well I've got 3 L series dual range gearboxes sitting here....how difficult is it to transfer the low range gears from one of these into the ...

Lib seats into L series
What is the preferred method....? a. - Take the L series rails off the L series seats and bolt them to the Lib seats b. - Modify the existing Lib rails on the seats to bolt into the L series car c. - something else Christian I think you have done this conversion before? I forgot to ask you about it ...

Yeah an L sedan for offroad sounds attractive....and Jaffa's idea of N/A EJ power plants is good.... I know somebody with a good EJ25 forsale...... :D But seriously....I rekon you should just drive the Coupe to work everyday. Use that as your everyday car - it doesn't use alot of fuel anyway really....
