Also common is the hazard switch playing up. Give it a wiggle and click it on and off a few times.

JWS have done nothing to the harness. I have had a bit to do with this car lately and the wiring is still very far from satisfactory. How ever it was when Brett sold it the engine management system is still wired the same. It has a microtech I want to remove. I want to wire it back up to the factory...

I have to do some wiring on this and I needed to know (at the time it left Brett's pocession) if it was using the correct ecu for the motor and the piggy back computer was just used for p...

I guess if the 22 harness physically plugs into the ej20 motor and physically plugs into the ej20 computer then I guess it should work.

Does it creak in time with the wheel rotating? If so.. Wheel bearings or loose hub nut.

Hey Paul.. Referring to your post about Coffin bay.. That was my wife's and I favorite place when we traveled around Australia in the foz last year. Would be keen to go again but probably not in the forester.

I forgot to add. The supplier and repairer for these in Perth is Neltronics. I'm not sure who deals with them over there but maybe they can send u one or point u in the right direction.

Also If u find the region for the DVD is wrong I have the instructions on how to make it multi region.

Yeah sounds like it's missing a cable. Since it was given to you sounds like u can't return it. For what it's worth it's more than likely faulty anyways. I think over half these that I installed stuffed up within 6 months. Nesa is a dodgy brand usually.. It's just rebadged china stuff. The only Nesa...

Craig David fans.. Are 16 year old screaming girls.. You might have more luck fitting Davis Craig fans in your engine bay. Nice way to confuse him Bennie. I don't need 2 guesses to work out who your favorite singer is.

You might want to add the fact it has Gas conversion stuff hanging off it... I have had a similar problem at least twice before... once was a bad MAF sensor and once was a bad O2 sensor. Neither gave me an engine code. If your still using the same MAF sensor from that L i was doing the conversion wi...

It hasn't gone into limp mode with the ECU has it? Any engine light?
Sounds a lot like what i experience when i unplug my MAF sensor and go for a burn in my Forester.
Noticed it using more fuel??

Is this on an ej converted car or factory lib? I know there is a lot of things that can cause this problem but recently I had an ej engine behave like u are describing and it was a faulty temp sensor. There are 2 on the ej22. One is for the dash (single wire) the other is for the ecu (2 wire). Check...
