Hmmm thanks for the replies. I doubt its the CV as i put in reconed ones not long ago. Ill check today anyway. Could it be the transfer case or front diff?

Also, There is no noise in 4wd mode. If it was CV, should the noise continue in 4wd mode? Thanks

Clutch slipping or not?

Hi guys, thought i'd post this up for some advice. I have a 92 L wagon and it was fine until I stopped at a set of traffic lights a few hours ago. When the lights turned green and i let off the clutch with some gas as usual, I couldnt get any bite on the clutch at all. The gearbox gives a fast rattl...

prices did not go up from $1.57/L after cheap wednesdays here at epping again... Seems like servos here sell off their last stock "cheap" before another major hike. Im expecting $1.75/L this week due to the $139/barrel hike.

As of yesterday, all servos around my area (Ryde) were still at their low $1.36/L since last tuesday. I just find it odd that prices are ...

oh yea there was no excess movement/wobble anywhere before I took the shafts out. I could move the shaft around the rubber supports for the centre bearing though, but it was cushioned, as in the rubber would push it back to center. is that normal?

I'm not too mechanical-minded but I've tried to pinpoint the source of the problem. I get a wobbling noise/vibration from under the car at about 60km/h and it g...

thnx for the help guys. i managed to get it done by detaching the control arm from the crossmember. The problem was getting it in line to rettach it. But its been solved now by getting a huge rope loop aroudn the whole rig and twisting it tight haha.
