I had to use the speaker covers though due to the previous car owner already hacking the door trims up abit. This is the very reason why i needed to mount it on the trim, which is unfortunate because i would have liked to have mounted it onto the metal. Didnt it stop your window from completely goi...

ok, my last question...i promise. what is dual range? do all L-series have it? do i need it? thanks If you want to do any good-like off-roading (probably why your lifting) it is good. Duel range means that effectively you get another gearing above your standard box that gives you lower ratios. This...

Dash lights flicker
Hi all. Recently I have noticed that once the engine warming up, the dash lights tend to flicker with relation to the irregular idle of the motor. It does not appear that the headlights or anything else suffers the same problem. My initial thoughts are just that the idle speed is too low, but could ...

Instead of screwing on to the 6" screw holes, it screws into using the 6.5" screw holes that extend outside the normal speaker dimensions. This means that i get a horrible overlap on the ri...

Front speaker problem
Hey all. I have reacently purchased some 6" split for the front doors of my 92 l -series wagon. tweeters are fit and all good to go but im having problems with mounting the front speakers. Pretty much, the deal is, the original owner has cut holes for presumably 5inch speakers at the front. This is ...

got the same one here, just rebranded by some other mob. Works good (though there is still little room for rca outs at the back with my head-deck), and simple, which i spose matched the interior of my ea82. Annoying as hell trying to bundle the wiring in a way that it organised and doesnt put pressu...

Snorkel?
Is there anywhere that makes a snorkel for 82's? (i realise this little use for them in most cases). I might be inclined to try and make one.

carby ea82 temperature query
Howdy all, Bought a 92 l series wagon about 3 months ago with 220 on the clock (getting a bit long in the tooth). Anyway, the deal is the engine seems to idle alright when cold but once warmed up it idles a lot rougher which i find quite odd. Not to mention the difficultly in starting the car someti...
