Its like a normal hex, but it needs a hole in the middle as there is some sort of protection on it (ie they dont want people stealing the roof racks with easily available bits). I dont really want to drill out the middle of the bolt, but i spose it is an option

Roof racks

Heya.

Does anyone in brissie have a key for standard L series roof racks (with the 2 bolts) that I could borrow via mail?

Also, does anyone know if these roof racks ware compatible with other cars, namely an N13 Pulsar?

Cheers

Hey mate. Sorry I have been unable to call, had a bit of a busy day despite the fact i received the email earlier. Predominant interest lays in the engine and radiator, and tis good that it has no hydrolic adjuster tick or oil :) I will call tomorrow. Was the engine just a straight swap from another...

No worries. Took it out and its all good. Spoke to the bloke I bought it off and he had it in there because it saves fuel or something. ANOTHER QUESTION while I'm here. Are these vehicles a pain in the arse to fill up or what?? Just went down to put some fuel in it and the handle kept clicking like...

EOI 92 L Enduro in Brissie

Up for sale is a 92 L series Enduro with an ea82 Carb. I’m not going to pretend with this car, so what I say is what I know. Engine and running gear: 230,000 orig km Carburetted Runs reliably and starts every time. Burns no oil, runs cool, though heats up slightly over large climbs Timing belts done...

hate the colour. STI blue would be nice. Reminds me of some of the old jap bluebird tuner cars. Would love to do something like this to my L but the legalities just dont exist

Ignition lead resistance ea82.

Can someone give me a shout out for what sorta resistance readings i should be getting for the plug leads on a ea82 carby engine?

3 of the 4 range from 5-7k ohms, and the 4th (the longest) is reading around 13k ohms.

Is this high?

Cheers,

Andy
