nah it just locked up the front and pulled pretty badly left, corrected by pullingon the wheel and seemed to have pretty good control over it... i would have expected stranger things than that from it and had to let it roll to a stop to try and clear the merging lane, stopped a few meters shore... 4...

whyd you go and do that subarino???

it made bluesteel jealous and it tried the same trick

sheared the inner bolt off the lower control arm and everything bent back into the firewall and locked up the front left on the highway

cept mine was a little bit quicker... the usual 10%ish over 110

just did some measuring

83 MY Tie Rod End --- 130mm long
?? L Tie Rod End --- 150mm long

what i need --- 165mm long or longer

can anyone help... puhleeeeeese :roll:

Tie Rod Ends

i have used L series lower control arms and hubs on the MY Monsterwagon and now the steering rack is too short i have been told that the EA71 tie rod ends are longer, does anyone know how much longer? and if so can they sell me some?. or is there any other car with longer ends to do the trick? cheer...

cheers guys.. either side of the coil worked a treat...

yellow to the side of the coil that had a yellow wire and the black/white on to the side with a black wiire :lol:

fired up and is all good

just gotta find a timing light and set the timing

cheers people... ill wait for someone to check in da morning... well later in the morning and wouldnt you know it... had to go help a mate jump start his car tonight... but the soob wasnt going 8O and i had parked the twagon in so i couldnt go in that either 8O so i had to take the ute instead, but ...

electronic distributor wiring

can anyone tell me how to wire in the electronic distributor in the ea81

the old points one just had the one wire coming off to tell the coil when to fire

but the new one has 2 wires coming off and im not too sure what to do with them

any help would be great

yeah the torsion bar is wound up...

the wheels rub on the guards with out them wound up specially with the spares in there

but is there any way to fix it...

special bushes maybe?

i have really bad rear camber issues on the monsterwagon

and theres more to it than just loosening off the bolts and letting the suspension settle

ill take a pic when i get home, but any ideas would be great

okay fellow boardies... what do people use for a radiator in their MY's or Brumbys with an EJ22 in them i can see that the easiest thing would be to get the MY one to have larger outlets to suit the EJ22 hoses but will that have enough flow in the radiator and or cool it enough any help would be gre...
