v1-6 should all be the same im pretty sure all the cranks are interchangable, and therefore crank sprocket ive got a link and the sensor is called subaru v1-6 im running an ej25 crank with 2.2l block and im pretty sure its the 2l crank sprocker.... i have a good diagram in a manual of how they work ...

ive succesfully used the big hammer and a punch before

just keep going round the circle so it comes out evenly, and make sure you clean the gunk out from around it first too!

could try counting the number of splines on the box, and on the tailshaft

may just be some strange freak shaft :P

otherwise try a big hammer and just belt it on (a spare box would be good for that tho) youll soon find out if its going to fit or not

i might buy a bunch of stuff off you too if you buy an outback

would be after struts, hubs, rear subframe, handbrake, and all that sorta stuff

depends on price and condition of course!

strength wise... i cant see it being a problem, ive been running 6 stuf for a few years and everything has copped a caining, ive bent lower control arms, radius rods, shocks, broken ball joints, and the hubs have held up fine i must also admit that im one of the dodgy people who have welded the stud...

i went to 6 stud a few years ago, but only because i wanted to run 30" tyres, and a few of my mates were driving cars with 30's on 6 stud rims... endless spares

i would stay stick with the 14's if you dont want to go to really big tyres, there seems to be plenty of tread patterns available for 14's
