Gday all. Im about to undertake a basic service on my XS 2.5l forester. 230,000klm. Drop the oil, replace it & oil filter. Replace fuel filter. yeh servo is a couple of blocks away. I would have to agree to "top it up" ASAP to help with combustion. I have seen on hot rod shows (USA) there is stuff like flash lube additives, worth the money? Are there any other issues with leaving the car sitting there for a year? Obviously the battery will ...

I have heard of Metho. But I will see how we go. I know older carby cars, bikes and outboards don't like old fuel. I will just have to see where the fuel level is and assess it from there. Im not used to advanced tech/computers ect so hope it will help sort it out.
