I think 3" kits are illegal to use on a road registered cars. Would expect a complete 2" lift kit would be worth a couple of hundred $ anyway. The're would be over a $100+ in just bolts alone, especially if they're missing. yes i understand that, would think u should be able to pick a second hand k...

subaru brumby lift

after a 2" lift in decent condition (including everything) for my 88 brumby and a couple of springs for the front. don't really want to spend hundreds on new ones.

seen on eBay king springs are about $80 each (part number KFFS-45)

It's just a different badge - there's no difference from what I've seen between different brumbys. It's probably a badge from a sedan or wagon that was the GL model - the GL in the MYs (and L series) were the ones *generally* with carpet, different dash option, possibly power windows, AC/PS etc... ...

There were GL brumbies and they had more options like power steering aircon etc. Ive seen a couple down here I do know both had the twin headlights , power steering and aircon. Hi all, just brought another brumby which is a 91 model and it says "subaru GL" but my other good brumby which is a 88 model doesn't have the "GL" Just wondering if anyone could fill me in and what the GL stands for/ what extras or something it has. thanks for reply and will post some photos Monday of progress. yes i was defiantly going to go cat back with 2 inch just wanted to upgrade y pipe if possible. ive spent some coin on this brumbys so want the best of best :) any other quick easy performance mods on ea81 without getting cops attention ?

Full working gas system (from 1988 brumby)

Just selling gas system from my Subaru brumby, pulled it out because I believe gas is for BBQ's and needed tray room for motorbikes. Works and comes with everything. Located in Port Augusta, SA.
