I went to the trouble of pulling down a set of these elcheapo ebay brumby cv' and found that they did in fact have 6 bearings , but they were much larger that the genuine. The outer race was larger in diameter and they only had the LARGE snap ring up front of the race - no small snap ring behind it ...

Lift kit gear box linkages
Can anyone tell me out there if there are any special parts that are required to be added to the Brumby Gear box linkages. Just find that mine is pretty hard to get into reverse now that its been lifted 2 inches and not all that easy in other gears. Only has happened since I lifted it.

I've bought 2 TWO sets of Brumby CV Drive Shafts of Ebay and as soon as I've installed them they continually CLUNK on 360 degree turns. All Imported Chow remanf shafts I guess. No such thing as genuine anymore but if I can get genuinely remanf drive shafts in stead of these shonky Ebay ones I'd be r...

Steering wheel repairs.
I had trouble some time back getting a RWC because the outer rubber on the rim of the steering wheel was loose. I've still got the steering wheel, and its a really good original Brumby steer/wheel apart from the loose rubber rim. Any of you guys out there know how I can inject some adhesive compound...

Can someone confirm that the FRONT Castle nut on the Brumby has to be pulled up to 194nm. I recently got back the young fellows Brumby and the front Castle nuts were just finger tight. I had weird noises in the front. I subsequently pulled them up till my tension bar ran out of tension which was no ...

EA81 & EA82 Carby's
Looking for a spare carby for my 90 Brumby with a Hitachi Carby. Have a couple of EA82 Leone's in the local wrecking yard, and just wondering if any of those EA82 Carby's might be compatable with the EA81 Brumby Carby.

Lift kit repair job,
The young fellow has bought a Brumby which has been lifted 2 inches. However and inspection reveals that the lift block on the top of the passengers side Shock absorber has been put in wrong way round resulting in the passengers side front wheel having a bad inward camber. The drivers side front whe...

Control Arm Bush replacement.
I just replaced two bushes on my front control arms on my Brumby and I didn't find it an easy job. First I had to remove the rubber centre piece as the outer metal tube/sleeve would not budge without doing any damage to the control arm. Once I removed the rubber bush I got out my Recipro cordless sa...

Ive stripped a few down and swapped parts round to get a good shaft, and have no hestatition in dropping a cv shaft to replace the boot. No way I'd throw a good CV shaft away just because the boots busted. Its a messy job but I followed up on this CV shaft repair after going on YOUTUBE. The only pro...
