Nah, haven't done any painting yet. Still working on other projects.

I will be fixing up the finish at a later date, probably when I give the old girl a new paint job.. It works and that's what's important.
For now, I have plenty of other jobs to finish off first..

ok, here are some pics of the fibreglass work in progress.. the glass mat you can see will be the next layer. because of the frame and foam, the next couple of layers will just be around the edge to give the unsupported sections a bit more strength.. the corners i have put an extra reinforcement pie...

Got the 2nd layer of glass on today, will take some pics for you tomorrow.. Next job will be to fill in some dips and drops with some bog before applying the next layers of glass.. i've just installed a 2" lift on my brumby, and alternately to cutting my guards i am going to get/make longer radius rods to move the front wheels forward enough to clear.. is there an easy fit option i can use that are about an inch longer or is it easier to get a mate to cut and extend the existi...

ok, next question... how hard and or legal is it to lock your diffs? whether it be permanently, or manually via a switch or automatically like LSD?

In 4wd you really have changed it from 1 wd to 2wd. Add an LSD or locker to get 3wd or 4wd. ah ok.. i think i understand now... whilst it is technically in 4WD it is actually in 2 diff drive.. 2WD = Front diff 4WD = both diffs each wheel on each diff will still work independently from it's counterp...

i thought, even with both wheels off the ground, the wheel turns the diff, turns the drive shaft, turns the gearbox, turns the front wheels and engine.. front wheels are on the ground and handbrake is on, so using that chain of events, the back wheels shouldn't turn. i'm not very mechanical, so henc...
