in offroadsubarus they mentioned about not running very well offroad with 27inch tyres.. i'm not planning on extreme offroad, just a bit of mud and gravel etc.. not planning on doing the whole "TUFF TRUCK" effort.. lol

will i still be ok with the stock gearbox etc?

the roll pin has already been replaced in the past.. i'll see if that needs tightening, if that doesn't work i'll try slotting it out.. thanks

shifter slop

my shifter had some serious slop.. in gear it almost felt like it was in neutral.. i bought a genuine bush kit and change the bushes etc circled in the picture but it's still just as bad.. any idea what else it may be? whats the usual RPM range of the EA-81?

idle - cruise - max?

i searched the net and seen a post on another forum that said cruise was 4000 - 4500 and max was 5200.. but that doesn't seem right to me..

anyone with a tacho on an EA-81 that can tell me?

do you mean the strut spacer or the block under the engine cross member?

Can anyone tell me what carby this is? I can't seem to find and names/numbers on it.. It's on my EA-81 in my Brumby.. Am I right to assume it's the stock Hitachi? http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a419/DeanNabbe/carby1_zps0d1ccdd0.jpg http://i1033.photobucket.com/albums/a419/DeanNabbe/carby2_zps65...

stud pattern change

i'm sick of having to search for stuff that fits an out dated car..

is it possible to convert the Brumby stud pattern to suit the newer Subaru wheels?

is it as simple as just putting something like Forester hubs on my Brumby?
