Hello new - did the EA-81 or EA-82 ever come with CARB

Hi guys just wondering about an EA-81 and EA-82 did they ever come out to Australia in Carb , i.e not Injected ? you might be able to tell what i'm thinking re my username , as the Carb version can be sidedraft turbo - don't want to deal with wiring and injection. also the size is PERFECT for VW. i....
