Howdy all, Approx 3 weeks ago, someone left a deposit with Steve @ Rising Sun Car Service in Adelaide for a Leone Turbo Wagon I was selling. The buyer didn't leave any contact details and has not returned to pay for and collect the car. Unfortunately if said person doesn't contact myself or Steve b...

SEARCH is a good friend. Gees, mate, that was a while ago on a PC that has expired, soon after I suspect. I agree, I recall the shove back in the seat feel to the GSR that I do not get in my EA82T's and brings us back to Earth that the turbo wasn't really put in to the Subes to race against Cordia'...

Thanks to Tim V for emailing me a copy of his 80's mag article on the L series Turbo. The author praised the Cordia a little more than the RX and its Turbo mate the GLTA I googled the Cordia to see the super petrol version -1030kg- had 110kW (147bhp) at 6000 and 210Nm at 4000 and the cats piss vers...

Rear End Photos

Hi all, I had a bit of a squeak in the rear suspension so I pulled off the tyres today and sprayed the moving components with a silicon spray and whilst I was at it took some photos. Can some with the knowledge give me some info on what I have in the rear as far as the suspension parts and diff/disc...

Congrats on finding a unique little Subie. No factory turbo wagons in Aus which means they're pretty rare. I myself am a sucker for the 80's sqaure edge styling, reckon it looks tough :D I will be interested to see how you go with your headlining, got the same problem with my l series GT wagon. You...

For an exhaust, 2 & 1/2 inch from the turbo to a 2 & 1/2 universal catalytic converter and then 2 & 1/4" from there to a hotdog about halfway under the car and a sports muffler at the rear This is where I had my cat just under the drivers footwell http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg94/scaled.php?serv...

Stock y pipes? Hi, my whole exhaust system is the original one, seems to be pretty solid until the cat, from there on it has a fair few rust holes, infact its the only significantly rusty part on the whole wagon. Dont want to go overboard on the exhaust costs, pretty much just want to get the flow ...

Nice ride Heath :) you should get plenty of good years out of that old girl. It looks like a 87 model for us in Aus but Japan cars are generally about 7-9 months infront of ours, so it could be an 86 model and having 3 speed auto it seems to be the series 1 model. What are your plans for her? Lift ...

Well, no deluxe air bag suspension in this baby ! Gravity ain't a favourite thing of mine to work against with the hood lining - sort of needs careful removal for starters - maybe advice of a trimmer before you even touch it. We still need a Japanese member for translation purposes eh ? Hi Steptoe,...

Back for dinner then of to work again, so heres a couple of answers. The gentleman I bought if of told me it was an 87 model, but the rego paper says 86 ?.
