Finding it hard to not stare at Emmas rear end and look at the towbar. :P Just look at that tailgate! :D Mine is so munted. :( Oneday I'll have it repaired! I still think my tailgate is hella-bent :/ from the inside, you can see down through the bottom onto the bumper. But it closes and opens fine ...

No truckies knots, though there were Butterflies-on-the-bight, Clove-hitches and half hitches. I do know how to tie knots but as this was a bizarrely shaped, very wobbly load and I had to take it onto the highway I went overboard. ;) I've also already remedied the numberplate issue by now, doing ex...

Cannot post in Queensland Forum

Hey mods,
Can't post threads or replies or do ANYTHING in the Queensland area of the forums. Any idea what's going wrong? Or is it a subscription issue

Cheers,
Tom.

Brisbane wreckers 'n' stuff

Hey all, I can't post anything on the Queensland forum area, dunno why, oh wells. Anyway, I was given a little flyer the other day at a wreckers in Brendale, don't know how many or even if any are specialised Subaru wreckers but it might be handy anyway. http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/4472/wreck...

Sorry to hear about the poor brumby mate, send me a pm as I am definitely interested (half is better than none :) ) Depending on condition I might be interested in taking the door off you too, if you were interested. Sent :) Also, wasn't mine, was a friend's and happened YEARS ago, only had 72000 o...

Might have a the whole shebang for a drivers side door, off an '89 Brumby. Wrapped around a tree so there's no passenger's side though :/

Oh, and I'm in SE Queensland, so delivery etc shouldn't be an issue :)

That thing is pretty damn cool. Sort of reminds me of a real low profile version of a Cayenne, but sexier ;)

Hey looks pretty good there, well worth fixing up. Got a nice straight tailgate too, the rarest of all options on a farmers Brumby. It's funny to see ya stereo install, when I was your age it was the first thing I would do to a car, now I just want to keep it all original. Go the pumping tunes! Che...

See how the tow ball is mounted on a piece of curved steel shaped somewhat like an 'S'? Flip that mount upside down and mount the ball back on top,

Then took Brumby for its first tip run in an attempt to clean out that garage some. 8) http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/5982/dscf5217k.jpg Jesus christ, I only just saw this! hahahaha. If there isn't a truckies hitch in there you're wasting your time, if you can't tie knots tie lots hah! Also, ma...

Neat looking brumby. One tip though - I WOULD NOT be using the front bar as a suitable jack stand area - these bars are held on by 4 bolts. Best place is to place your stands are either on the chassis rails or on the engine crossmember - even then I find the engine crossmember doesn't have a very w...

Cheers for the offer, but gonna wait for an already converted L series to hit the market once I have some extra funds to play with. Cheers WayneO Was toying with this idea myself, to build or to buy. Also, if you're interested, I have a steering rack in pretty schmick condition out of either an EA8...

Did the foz's have chevy badges? I've read some of the early to mid 2000 models around that area did since GM still had shares in Fuji.

PS sounds pretty amazing where you are, my brother in law just got back from India and he absolutely loved it.

Cramped is the main word there. Only 20mm or so between the radiator and the belts. I wish there were some more space so I could envision fitting an aircon system in there. Maybe I'll work out some way to get it happening eventually. I should take a new photo as a bits changed. :) Mmm, bit too cosy...

Drums in the rear. Hard to remove as I found today, or, at least a lot harder than the disks! - I greased everything in re-assembly. Disks are a pipe-dream I want to chase at some point. It is a nice ute, but compared to your Blue BRZ, wow, that is a pretty car. Not many modern rear ends look so pr...

Yeah, I had to shift the number plate onto the front of the bar there because I nearly got defected for the bar covering it a bit. Also had to weld a plate across the front because the spotlights were too deep for the stock brackets. Damn right she's purdy haha, dings in every panel though :( all in...
