Thanks Guys, yes Adelaide and WA are just a bit too far.

Timing on the EA81T that I have is partly controlled by the Knock Control Sensor that originally came with the vehicles. It's another brain box other than the main computer, controlling the advance and retard directly with the distributor. The only other reference to Ignition Timing is as follows: "...

Hope this is what your after. Wouldn't have a ignition switch/steering lock for a 1989 Brumby lying around yo...

According to the Subaru 1800 4WD Turbo Supplement 1983 Service Manual the Valve clearance for both Intake and Exhaust when engine is cold is 0 mm.
Hope this helps.

The Liner clips are "one part", they were a little darker grey than the originals, but there is enough to replace them all. The door clips arrived yesterday and I haven't try them as yet.
I got these from overseas and they cost $3.99 and free post, for 30.

I have been able to find the clips I am after, Liner Clips that is and also the Clips for the door cards. The liner clips could be a millimeter or so larger that the originals but come in dark grey. They are available from Car Parts Clips and Fasteners, in Mont Albert, Victoria. I will let you know ...

I have been in contact with Frog and didn't do any good with the number he gave me. Also been to the wreckers and destroyed the clips I was trying to get out. Has anyone else know of a clip used on another vehicle that is the same on pretty close to what I require.

Grey Bump-On Clips for Cabin Liner

Can someone tell me where I can get the Grey Bump-On Clips required to fix the Cabin Liner on a Brumby. The Cabin Liner is situated behind the seats and covers the Interior from the Floor to the Roof Lining.

Soon as you move the Brumby, the alarm goes off, open the any door, the alarm goes off, smash the window, the alarm goes off, open the bonnet, the alarm goes off. Yes a steering wheel lock is a great deterrent and comes in handy at roar rage situations, just joking of course about the road rage bit.

Thanks Guys, with your suggestions I started tracing wires, but I have finally solved the problem. The Harness they supply has two Red Wires, one to power the Brain Box the other possibly to power the Siren. I had both connected to the Power side of the Internal Light Fuse, at the Fuse Box. White Wi...

Brumby Car Alarm Wiring

I have just fitted a Rhino GTS Car Alarm to the Brumby. I have everything working except the function that detects voltage drop on the Interior Light. Has anyone fitted this type of Car Alarm or is there a Thread that I can get the info from.

Silverbullet, another question for you if you don't mind. The bolts for the Flywheel Housing and the Pressure Plate, would they be the same diameter but with the Flywheel Housing bolts being just a bees dick longer? Yes, I didn't mark the packets containing the bolts clearly enough when I was doing ...

Thanks Silverbullet, but sorry, what is the friction plate? The engine I'm working on is out of the vehicle and I have lined the clutch plate up using a transmission main shaft out of another gear box.. I am getting the flywheel machined today and that should ensure that the clutch surface is right ...

My problem is, I have purchased a 1992 Brumby and stripped it completely for parts. I am using the Motor, Flywheel Housing, Flywheel, Clutch Plate and Pressure Plate of this vehicle, they're in real good condition and fitting them to a 1989 Brumby. My 1983-1984 Subaru Service Manual states that ther...
