Been still having the prob with mine. Did plugs, leads, rotar, exhaust/oxy sensor, rotar cap, fuel filter, canister, clean fuel lines, check for vac leaks etc. Its running rich when it does it too as the back of the car is getting black on it. Find sometimes when it does it leave clutch out and turn...

Well doing the leads today, checked the fuel pump when I did the fuel filter. Havnt incresed boost or anything like that. The problem was there before the plugs were replaced also.

If leads dont help, might look at coil next. It almost feels when it does it that its not firing.

Yeah will check that tomorrow, the ECS light still appears but not long enough now to get a code like when i had the coolant sensor prob.

Could bad leads be causing it also?

EA81T Coughing and missing

Well to recap, had dash light coming on, indicating the coolant sensor, replaced that, also replaced the dizzy cap and rotar, spark plugs and checked for vaccume leaks.

Its still doing it......almost sounds like its not firing when it does is, its under load and compression when it does it.

HELP!

Well the interesting thing in the offroad racing world, ie rock crawling, or the new sport in the USA rock racing, is the use of twin turbo subaru motors, rear mounted as they have a good weight and low cog.

Was a prototype from a mob in Melb, luckily I kept it and used in on my current rig, is the only carrier in existance as mob went bust.
