Went camping at a spot called Farquhar Park on friday night, a few NSW members might know the area it was my first visit to the area and i didn't wanna leave, access to the spot is only by 4x4 on low tide along a 11km stretch of beach, such a nice relaxing quiet spot with great fishing, we should or...

Was the navara not so nice in the sand? My boss has a Navara and went to Fraser last year with a Jayco Dove in tow and loved it.

Noice wombataaron! I love your fly screened-boot idea. I had a look in front of my radiator, to see if there's anything I could remove to get more air flow... I'm thinking I might be able to get more air cutting out a large hole (50+mm dia?) in the front bumper on either side of the licen...

I got it on fleabay, was hoping for $1000. Got played around a little and ended up paying the $1200 they originally wanted. I'm happy though. I found this on fleabay - Dunno about the colour but a couple of spray cans should be able to sort that out ;) Cheers Bennie That looks good, except its 2.4 ...

If you wanna do the same thing i used this net: http://www.bcf.com.au/online-store/products/Kookaburra-Circular-Mosquito-Net-Queen-Green.aspx?pid=114447#Description You just slip half the net over the tailgate (like your putting a dress on:P) Rest the circle bit on top of the net on the top of your ...

Your outback is superior to a cruiser or patrol on beach/sandwork so keep that in mind. Personally id choose a 4.2 patrol they are so much better than cruisers. The petrol version is mental too. :) Sad to see you move away from subis but have fun wherever you go. :-) no theyre not. I dunno here, my...

Did 2 small camping mods in the last 2 days, mounted this rechargable fluro to the rear tailgate, sits on 2 cup hooks: http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn76/longerwombat/417f679b.jpg Puts out an awesome amount of light, not sure how long the charge lasts for and its only 240V chargable, but for $2...

Our pop top (clam shell design) roof top camper weighs about 55kg without any gear in it. I find it to be about a foot too short for me but can live with it. If I ever get my A into G I'd build another one along the same lines but with that extra length built into it. Other than that I reckon it's ...

Hi guys, i have the opportunity to snap up this rooftop camper pod:

http://portmacquarie.gumtree.com.au/c-V ... =355101861
only problem is it would hang about 40cm over the front of my roof:P
Am i right in guessing that would be unsafe/illegal?

There's a reason for that too...! Shame to see the subi go after all that work you've put in, I'm sure you'll enjoy a big fourby. Have you spent much time test driving any of them? After I wrote my first subi off I almost went to a big 4wd but after test driving a few I realised it just wasn't for ...

There's a reason for that ;) Yep there is, im tempted depends how much money i can borrow to fit into my budget, would love a landcruiser over a patrol. Don't touch any of the early 3.0l gu patrols. Buy a 4.2td GQ. Awesome ride. Sent from my HTC Velocity 4G using Tapatalk Yeah im staying way clear ...
