ahh interseting, thanks for all this help guys i really appreciate it! well my brother (mechanic) had a quick look at the compressor when i was installing my new spotlights and said it is seized. i will get some photos up in the next hour of the car and engine bay.

it was happening before i put the new radiator in, but i remembered i put the a/c condenser back in front of radiator so it must of removed an earth somehow.

yeah the pass side fan links directly to a/c compressor, so the switch for the drivers fan is the single pin i put into the new radiator. and there is only three cord looking things by the strut tower and three relays. no fuses for fans in cab either.

yeah thermo fans are hooked up, they just stopped working all of a sudden. where abouts is the relay or fuse for the thermo fan?

i havent checked thermostat yet, where is it located? but when i put new radiator in top hose was hot and so was bottom one when it was idling for a while.

then yes i have been driving it for a few days after i put new rims on. the old tyres were really worn on the outside and still looks the same after the new shocks. can you get wheel alignments on these things?

ill have a look in the morning, what do you mean by stabilising the rear suspension? the set of tyres i took off were wearing on the outside so i want to get it right before too much wear on the new ones.

just got some 14" sunraysias on sat and put 175/65/14 looks tough as now! couldnt get 185's because a 60 profile was too rare. i havent got a lift kit either and the wheels dont scrub
