I agree with bobbyjimmy on the wheel choice... Those rims would be better suited to a larger car "in my opinion"... I personally like the jap racer look, like a nice 5 spoke, bronze or gold, with dish... I like when there is visible dish on the other edge of the rim, where the spokes curve in and do...

If you want to make it lighter you can use a silver for a base colour, to ensure a even finish (so you dont see repair spots), then dont use too many coats of the blue (say about 3)... I used 4 coats of the blue then 4 coats of clear ( so that i had plenty of clear to sand back and buff, to get the ...

surely seats out of a current model liberty or impreza,etc.. would be a straight swap/fit... and would meet all required adr's, plug straight into factory airbag sensors... i assume a nice set of leather liberty seats would be nice and comfy..???

question about/4 speed to 5 speed conversion

hi guys, just wondering how hard it is to change the 4 speed gearbox in my 1985 brumby to a 5 speed... with the rising fuel prices im wondering if this mod will save me fuel with the overdrive, or do you think the cost of the conversion will outweigh the benifit.

the 94 dash should fit if your keen to modify it of course... if your doing an half cut conversion it makes sense to use the dash, as you can swap the entire loom, dash, etc, and it should all work sweet..... you will just have to make custom hanging brackets for the dash.... good luck... post us so...
