Yeah I tried this. I had the oil and filter changed at 7000km and they charged me $220. Must be some bloody good oil. Then the 12500km service was only $190 and they did the full service
I still had the DPF light flashing at about 10000km where they did a forced regen to clear it.

Is it possible that the shudder comes on when the engine is in a regen cycle when labouring up a hill in 6th gear. It seems it has no power when this shudder occurs but for me it happens on the same hill but very randomly

Got a 2009 Diesel outback with 25000km on it. I have experienced the shudder aswell usually in 6th gear up a slight incline.
