Is'nt this the same as insurance not paying out if they find undisclosed and un engineered mods on a vehicle? Is'nt the point of the engineers cert that they make sure its all legit and safe, and...

Shouldnt be hard, it would help if you had the car up on stands or ramps. Take off the plastic splash gaurd under the engine (6 bolts under the car and 1 in each front guard) and you've got easy access to the 3 nuts on each head. Then undo the end of the header and bingo. They are heavy so having so...

Well done Bennie. some mechanics must make a killing telling people they need more than they should for a roady, especially if they're selling the car as they will do whatever to have it happen the quickest!

Cheers guys. i think i will hang onto it and keep a look out for a box with a few blown gears. Its probably not worth much as it is. I never thought of that Gannon! makes sense My box didn't have that flat inspection plate on top of the rear section like in Jakes thread. Is this to do with the dual ...

What to do with a 5MT with a binding viscous coupling

So recently my Center Diff started to bind up pretty bad and in order to not have the car off the road too long i decided to just drop a newer(lower Km) gearbox straight in. So thanks to my Gf's dad buying a 4 post hoist, this job was pretty easy  So i now have a box stairing at me with nea...

I've got a MY99 BE Liberty with the SOHC ej25 and its a great car. A bit more room than an impreza, and it can tow anything upto a camper trailer fully loaded. If your gonna stick to NA its a great choice. Runs like its on rails :D

Turbo on the fa20? With a compression ratio of 12.x this wouldnt happen without engine work. Maybe an ej swap. I know the huge horspower d1 car they built for next years season didnt have the fa in it

Ii think with the brz that is exactly what it needs, no...

I too use 98 in my AUDM ej25, its still seems to make a difference over 91 in fuel economy and power(slight). i normally use shell it seems to be alot better than caltex/mobil. never used BP as the one near me always has higher prices than the shell across the road. couldnt afford to run 98 in my ev...
